Annual Conference 2010 of the North Sea Region Programme
June 16 – 18, 2010
Stavanger, Norway
The conference is the main annual event of the North Sea Region Programme and the North Sea Commission. As in previous years, it is arranged and hosted by the two organisations in cooperation. The aim of the conference is to collect different expectations and to formulate key challenges stakeholders foresee in the development of the North Sea Region towards 20202.
In order to achieve the aim of the conference this year a participative approach has been chosen to include all stakeholders and to give room for interaction. There will be five “Cluster Cafés”:
- Climate Café
- Culture & Tourism Café
- Innovation Café
- Maritime Management Café
- Sustainable Communities Café

International Maritime Conference 2010

Mariehamn, Finland
The International Maritime Conference on the global shipping industry, with central theme on "Dynamics and Transformative Capacity", will address research and strategies for current challenges of transformation in global shipping and the innovative responses to these challenges. This conference, accomodates researchers, regulators, maritime companies and cargo owners, will be held in two pararrel sessions, namely for academic research and for practitioner from maritime industry.
This conference is organised by Åland International Institute of Comparative Island Studies (AICIS), Centre for Shipping Economics and Innovation (CENSEI), Copenhagen Business School, The Maritime Development Centre of Europe (MDCE), and The Danish Shipowners’ Association.

Annual Conference of the International Association of Maritime Economists (IAME) is an international forum for the exchange of research and information among those interested in maritime and maritime-related issues.

The World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR) is organized every three years under the authority of the WCTR Society.
