NMU with keynote presentation at the Maritime Interreg Conference

The Maritime Interreg Conference hosted by the Interreg IVa and IVb Secretariats took place on May 27-28, 2009, at Gothenburg, Sweden. The two day conference provided the opportunity to learn and exchange views about cooperation across our joint seas, the two programmes and their maritime aspects. Innovation, sustainable environmental management and accessibility were the key elements of the conference.
The NMU partner Yakov Boglev gave a keynote presentation at the conference on International Maritime Cooperation. The projects officer at the Transport Research Institute, Edingburgh Napier University, discussed the topic of "Challenges in Maritime Policy, the Environmental Sphere and Training in the Sector".
